“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31
As you know, I have not posted a blog in a minute. I took a sabbatical for a while. I needed a break. I needed some rest. And guess what, it's okay. It is okay!
We have traded the old times of sitting on the porch with family to sending text messages to hold conversations. We are constantly on the go and never take time to unplug or unwind. The laundry has to be done. The bills have to be paid. The list goes on and on.
When you are overwhelmed, self-care is a must. Self-care is so important for our mental health, social health, emotional health, and physical health. Self-care is not always about shopping or taking a trip. Sometimes is about turning the phone and TV off to listen to the sound of nature. Unplugging and taking a day off from work was the best self-care I could have given myself today. My body needed the rest.
When we feel overwhelm and worn, help us to remember that we can rest in You. Remind us that it is okay to steal away and find peace in Your presence.
In Jesus Name, Amen!
Almighty Father, You created the heavens and earth. We come seeking the Creator to tell Hurricane Dorian "Peace be still." The winds obey at Your voice. You created the winds. So we call on the Creator!
Lord,we come interceding on the behalf of the people living in the Bahamas and for love ones that are on vacation there. Lord, cover Your people. Lord, we dispatch angels of help and rescue. Lord, we call on Your name. Jesus! Jesus! We love You Jesus!
It's in Your mighty name,

Philippians 2:14-15 “ Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world”
As parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, & guardians, give us strength to endure this school year. God, we apply the Blood over these 180 days of the 2019-2020 school year. Because school is back in session, the to- do-list will be longer. Homework, laundry, packing lunches, PTO meetings, commutes to extracurricular activities, science projects, and research papers to be typed. God, empower us to assist our children with their schoolwork.
God, we will seek You in the morning as a family. Let us not grumble because of my long to-do-list. Instead of complaining about the laundry, we will be thankful for the water to wash the laundry. Instead of complaining about preparing the lunches for school, we will be thankful for the food that we have. Instead of complaining about our children’s homework, we will be thankful for the knowledge that God has endowed in us to help us children. God, forgive us for complaining!
We will enjoy this school year! We praise God for the provisions He has bestowed upon our family to complete our to-do-list during the year. Jesus, we thank You in advance!

Every morning read Psalms 91 as a family!
We apply the Blood over every household that has children going to daycare, grade school, college, graduate school, or any university. We apply the Blood over every educational institution in the world. We apply the Blood over the teachers, guidance counselors, care givers, nurses, administrators, secretaries, teacher assistants, custodians, food service, bus drivers, school board, and any others that may come in contact with our children. As parents, we declare and decree blessings over our children lives this school year. Every diabolical attack has to cease at the name of Jesus. We dismantle anything that attempts to frustrate our school year in the name of Jesus.
No peer pressure shall plague our children or oppress our children. Our children will walk in the boldness of Jesus. When their instructors see them, they will call them blessed. Their peers will call them blessed. Their coaches will call them blessed. Whatever our children hands touch will be prosperous. Wherever our children walk, the land will belong to them. Our children will put their focus on God and nobody else. Social media will not be a distraction to our children, but a means to share the blessings of God.
As we rise early in the morning as a family, we will give God the praises for the new day. Together as a family, we will seek God to order our steps during day. Oh God, bend your ears to our prayers for our children as they return to their educational institutions.

We thank You for Your faithfulness! We thank You for Your grace and mercy. God dismantle anything that is causing us anxiety. God remove the anxiety, fear, and stress. God pour into us Your joy, love, and peace. God refresh our mind, body, soul, and spirit. Heal us oh Lord! We apply the Blood to our minds, our bodies, our souls, and our spirit. Lord, rejuvenate us! God, refuel us! Jesus, refresh us. Daily we will dispatch our angels of peace, tranquility, and calmness. We love You and praise You.

We surrender our battles to You. We cannot handle them on our own. We trust You! God, forgive us for trying to fight battles our way. We will have the attitude of standing still and seeing Your salvation. We love You! We adore You!
