School is Out and Summer is In

​Psalm 74:17  “It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter.”(NIV, 1978)
Proverbs 1:8-9 "Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck." (NIV, 1973)

Heavenly Father,
First, we would like to thank You for allowing parents see their children fulfill another successful school year. God, we thank You for the good days as well as the bad days. We thank all of the teachers, counselors, SROs, cafeteria workers, custodial staff, and the administrators for keeping our children safe. God we thank You for being in the hallways and classrooms of the school.

Now God, as we enter into the summer months we asked that You bless parents with patience, financial blessings to pay for camps and babysitters, and bless parents with godly family and friends to help with children during the summer months.
We pray a spirit of obedience for the children.  Lord, strengthen the hedge of protection as the children will have more unstructured time.  We apply the blood over every child on this universe. God we apply the blood over every household that have children.  We apply the blood over the camps and the camp counselors for the summer. 

God we pray for a hedge of protection for the children that will have summer jobs. We dispatch protection angels and discerning angels at their place of employment. We pray for traveling mercies and dispatch traveling angels around their cars. 

Jesus we thank You in advance for the covering over the children and the parents as schools closes and the summer begins.
