Now that school is out....

Proverbs 1:8-9

"Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck."

Heavenly Father,

First, we want to thank You for allowing parents to see their children fulfill another successful school year. God, we thank You for the good days as well as the bad days. We thank all of the teachers, counselors, SROs, cafeteria workers, custodial staff, and the administrators for keeping our children safe. God we thank You for being in the hallways and classrooms of the school. Thank You for being with the parents, grandparents, and guardians this school year.

Now God, as we enter into the summer months we ask that You bless parents with patience, financial blessings to pay for camps and babysitters, and bless parents with godly family and friends to help with children during the summer months.

We pray a spirit of obedience for the children.  Lord, strengthen the hedge of protection as the children will have more unstructured time.  We plead the blood over every child on this universe. God we plead the blood over every household that have children.  We plead the blood over the camps and the camp counselors for the summer. 

Jesus we thank you in advance for the covering over the children and the parents as school closes and the summer begins.
