Independence in God

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

The text above refers through the Holy Spirit, believers have freedom to access the presence of God without fear and condemnation. According to Romans 8:1-2 (NIV), therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
When we trust our Lord and Savior, we are loved, forgiven, and freed to live for Him.  When we trust Christ to save us, He takes all of our heavy burdens that are weighing us down and robbing us of our freedom. Give your burdens to Jesus Christ and watch the fireworks of blessings pour out over your life.

Heavenly Father,
You are our rock and fortress! We can bring all our heavy burdens to You and experience the freedom from guilt and shame. Jesus I thank You for losing Your independence for us to have freedom.
