![]() Ecclesiastes 4:6 6 Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind. On last week, the women of my church enjoyed our "Life in Balance" women's conference. This conference consists of several activities throughout the week learning how to create a more balance life. On Friday night, I conducted a workshop on "How full is your plate?". Ecclesiastes 4 was the text I used to conduct this workshop. In verse 6 of Ecclesiastes, Solomon discusses that some people are lazy while others are workaholics. Solomon explained that both extremes are irresponsible. Therefore, we should work in moderation and enjoy what God has blessed us with. Therefore, I ask you this question. How full is your plate? Are you enjoying life or just existing because you have so much on your plate? If you are enjoying life, that is awesome. If you just exist because you are too busy, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself what are you hiding from. Heavenly Father, Daily help me live a balanced life. Correct me when I allow life to get me off balance. May Your gentle voice and touch remind me of what is most important. As long as You are my first priority, I will live a balanced life.
