Psalm 139:13-15 (NIV)
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Recently, I colored my hair in search of a “new” look. As I left the hair salon, I felt as if I was the prettiest woman on the Earth. However, as I walked through the door, my son asked me what is with the “new” look. He said it is pretty, but you were already beautiful. As the words came out of his mouth, God begin to use him to minister to me. Every morning, I say to myself, “Everything God created is good, and I… look good”. As my son ministered to me, I was wondering if I believe the statement I quoted every morning. God created us! The Almighty One! 1 Samuel 17:7 says that man looks at the outer appearance, but God looks at the heart. God is not worried about our outer appearance. He is concern with our hearts. God created us just like he wanted to create us. You are God’s grand masterpiece! His precious creative design! Dear God, Daily, I must remember that I am yours and that you created me. Whatever you created is marvelously made. Because I love you, I must love myself. In Jesus Name, Amen! Copyrighted 2014 by Edwina D. Perrin. All rights reserved. |
