2 Corinthians 4: 8-10 (NKJV) “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.”
Paul is telling us that when the enemy has knocked us down it does not mean we are out of the race. God is still near us at all times. With Him we are more than a conqueror (Romans 8: 31-39). God will never forsake His children. In this text, Paul seems to be defeated. However, with God on our side we walk in victory and not as a victim. We have to trust God even when we cannot trace him. God delivered Paul out of many horrible circumstances, therefore Paul is expressing to us to hold on and don’t give up because God will rescue His children. Therefore, whatever may have you beaten down; know that you are not out as long as God is on your side. God can use whatever He wants to reveal His glory. I will do anything for your glory. Heavenly Father, I thank you for all you have done for me during my trials, tribulations, and my good days. God you are worthy to be praised. God, give me direction on whatever I may need direction on. Jesus, give me direction how to raise my child(ren) and whatever you have entrusted me with. I need you to survive! Lord, I love you!
