Colossians 4:6 Our Father, Cleanse our mouths of any degrading words we may have spoken over others or against ourselves. Lord, let us speak words of encouragement, peace, joy, and harmony. Lord, Your Word says that "life and death lies in the power of the tongue"(Proverbs 18:21). Lord help us to have a humble spirit during a time when our emotions my rise and we become upset. Lord, helps us to speak life into anyone we may contact with. Let our language be full of Your grace. Remove any words that are not pleasing to Your ears. Fill our hearts and minds with Your spirit.
