Back to the Grind...School is in Session

​Philippians 2:14-15 “ Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world”

Heavenly Father,
As parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, & guardians, give us strength to endure this school year. God, we apply the Blood over these 180 days of the 2019-2020 school year. Because school is back in session, the to- do-list will be longer. Homework, laundry, packing lunches, PTO meetings, commutes to extracurricular activities, science projects, and research papers to be typed. God, empower us to assist our children with their schoolwork. 
God, we will seek You in the morning as a family. Let us not grumble because of my long to-do-list. Instead of complaining about the laundry, we will be thankful for the water to wash the laundry.  Instead of complaining about preparing the lunches for school, we will be thankful for the food that we have.  Instead of complaining about our children’s homework, we will be thankful for the knowledge that God has endowed in us to help us children.  God, forgive us for complaining! 
We will enjoy this school year! We praise God for the provisions He has bestowed upon our family to complete our to-do-list during the year. Jesus, we thank You in advance!
