For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18, NKJV). We all have faced giants in our lives one time or another. We all have had trials and hardships, but in this scripture it tells us that our affliction is only going to last for a moment. Paul, the writer, is instructing us to live a godly life even in the midst of trials and tribulations. Paul does not want us to quit or become discouraged because it is only a “light affliction”. As Christians, we should not be astounded by the problems we have. In 1st Peter 4:12, it clearly tells us to not be surprised by the trials that we will face. We have to remind ourselves that we do not have to face these trials alone. For the scripture says, Matthew 11: 30, “For my yoke is easy and my burdens are light” (NIV). Psalm 121 Paul is telling us, in this text, not to be caught up in the ungodly ways of whining and complaining. Heavenly Father, Forgive me for the many times I whined and complained about my problems. Forgive me for not turning to You first, but instead turning to people. You are my rock, my mighty battle axe, and my way maker. God, from this day forward, I refuse to be discouraged by life experiences. I will trust You and only You! In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen! Almighty Father, We come before you declaring and decreeing a blessed school year. Our children will walk in dominion and power in their educational institutions. We apply the Blood to ADHD, ADD, OHD, EMD, and any other acronym that the school try to label our children. We apply the Blood to reading comprehension, dyslexia, autism, and any other learning disability that tries to hinder our children from learning and being successful. Our children will not struggle academically in English, Spanish, German, French, math, social studies, science, and other subject/course they are enrolled in. Our children are a “royal priesthood…”(1 Peter 2:9). God’s favor will be so great on our children’s academics that the world will not understand the scripture “eyes have not seen and ears have not heard… what God has prepared (1 Corinthians 2:9) for_______________________ (fill in your child’s/children’s name). Eternal Father, We apply the blood over every household that has children going to daycare, grade school, college, graduate school, or any university. We apply the blood over every educational institution in the world. We apply the blood over the teachers, guidance counselors, care givers, nurses, administrators, secretaries, teacher assistants, custodians, food service, bus drivers, school board, and any others that may come in contact with our children. As parents, we declare and decree blessings over our children lives this school year. Every diabolical attack has to cease at the name of Jesus. We dismantle anything that attempts to frustrate our school year in the name of Jesus. No peer pressure shall plague our children or oppress our children. Our children will walk in the boldness of Jesus. When their instructors see them, they will call them blessed. Their peers will call them blessed. Their coaches will call them blessed. Whatever our children hands touch will be prosperous. Wherever our children walk, the land will belong to them. Our children will put their focus on God and nobody else. Social media will not be a distraction to our children, but a means to share the blessings of God. As we rise early in the morning as a family, we will give God the praises for the new day. Together as a family, we will seek God to order our steps during day. Oh God, bend your ears to our prayers for our children as they return to their educational institutions. In Jesus Name, Amen!
