![]() Heavenly Father, This week has been a “trying” week. I have called on You so much this week because the trials of life were weighing me down. I have cried, fasted, and prayed all week. God I thank You for allowing me to call on You at any time of the day. God most of all “What a friend we have in Jesus? All our sins and griefs to bear…take it to the Lord in prayer.” After much crying, fasting, and praying, God I must say You heard my cry and answered my prayers. I want to thank You for being my comforter in the time of a storm. In Jesus Name, Amen ©2016 by Edwina Perrin. Eros is the physical love. The feeling you get when you see your spouse, your boyfriend, or your girlfriend. You know every time they see you and you see them your heart pitter pats. Philos love is the friendship or brotherly love. This is a unique kind of love you have for a pal or friend. It refers to loving one another just like your brother or sister. Eros and Philos love are really wonderful, but they are not always reliable. Sometimes these types of love can end up souring as we have all experienced at some point in our lives. However, in this piece of scripture God is talking about the Agape love. This love is selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional love. This is the highest type of love in the Bible. Among Christians, agape love is so great that God was willing to send His only begotten Son to die for our sins. He is the committed One. His love is committed to saving us and protecting us from dangers seen and unseen. Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving me unconditionally! In Jesus Name, Amen! ©2016 by Edwina Perrin. The service was so powerful that people began to rejoice and praise God in other languages. This scripture is so powerful! The scripture tells us to rejoice ALWAYS. In good times, in bad times, when you have money, or when you don’t have money ALWAYS rejoice in the Lord. Remember Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to His purpose”. Heavenly Father, I will rejoice no matter what I am going through. Father, I will find positive in every situation that I encounter. My mind will always reflect on what Your Son did on Calvary. Father, I will shout unto the Lord, REJOICE! In Jesus Name, Amen. ©2016 by Edwina Perrin. All rights reserved. |
