1 Thessalonians 2:4, NLT “Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.”
In today’s society, social media has conditioned our minds to seek validation from the amount of “likes” or “hearts” we receive from an online post. Whether it is Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other online service, we seek attention and validation from people we know and do not know. Although posting online is a way of sharing information, receiving “likes” or validation is not a social media problem, but a flesh problem. There’s nothing wrong with being recognized and honored by man. However, we must remember God’s approval is the most important approval we should be seeking. Heavenly Father, Forgive me for seeking man’s approval when Your approval is the most significant approval of my life. In Jesus Name, Amen! ©2017 by Edwina Perrin. All rights reserved. Jeremaih 8:22 “Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?”(KJV)
Heavenly Father, We come before You thanking You for all You have done for us. Right now we come standing in the gap for someone that may be sick in their body. We need You to touch their body in the name of Jesus. We apply the blood to their nervous system, respiratory system, circulatory system, lymphatic system, skeletal system, endocrine system, digestive system, urinary system, reproductive system, or their cells & tissues. God touch their organs in the name of Jesus! You created us! Doctors can treat us, but You can cure us! We thank You in advance for the healing! In Jesus Name, Amen! ©2017 by Edwina Perrin. Heavenly Father, I come to You burdened down. My heart is overwhelmed! God, You know why my heart is overwhelmed. Jesus, I need You to touch me and mend my heart. God, I need a heart transplant from this hurt. You created me, therefore I am depending on You to perform this transplant. God I thank you in advance! In Jesus Name, Amen! ©2017 by Edwina Perrin. Many times the love one you are taking care of becomes disgruntled, uncooperative, and may even hurt your feelings. During those times, you must seek God daily for strength to take care of the love one. We have to remember it is not them we are dealing with, but a spirit within them. Additional Scripture Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (NIV) Psalm 61:2 “From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (NIV). In the bible, the number 17 represents VICTORY. In 2017, we will walk in victory. Our families will be victorious! Our health will be victorious! Our finances will be victorious! Your seed (chidren) will be victorious. Your seed's seed (grandchildren) will be victorious in whatever they do.
When the enemy attempts to make you feel as you are defeated, shout out loud, "I am victorious in Jesus name!" God keeps His promises! He is not a God that will lie (Numbers 23:19). His word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Heavenly Father, You are great and mighty. Thank You for allowing us to see another day and another year. We thank You for the many blessings You have given us. Father, we come before You with thanksgiving and praise on our heart. We exalt Your name because You are worthy to be praised. Our trust is in You. In Jesus' name, Amen!! ©2017 by Edwina Perrin. All rights reserved. |
