bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
On Wednesday morning, I dropped my son off at school early to receive tutoring in Honors Algebra II. Well, I had no idea there was a particular parking lot to drop him off. As he was getting out of the car, a rambunctious teacher jumped out of her car and began yelling at him. I, then, let down the passenger window and told her not yell at him. I told her to talk to me about dropping him off in the wrong parking lot.
I was the adult and the one driving; therefore she should have talk to me in an appropriate tone. She refused to stop yelling at him and continued to scream at him. My flesh wanted to blast her and say unkind words. However, the Holy Spirit whispered to me and said “You are better than that.” I immediately knew that I had to obey.
Many times we let the flesh win and make matters worse. I am so glad I listen to the Holy Spirit because it allowed me to set an example for my son and the other students that were walking in the parking lot. The Holy Spirit will warn you and protect your from danger if you will only listen. Listening to the Holy Spirit means you are submitting to God’s will.
Thank you for the Holy Spirit! I won’t be lead wrong with the Holy Spirit guiding me.
In Jesus name,
