“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried into exile.” (Women’s Devotional Bible, New International Version, 1994).
We all keep calendars to remind us of the dates and times of various events we have planned.
Does your calendar look like this?
Reflect over this past year and think about the plans God had for you.
- Have you discovered God’s plan and purpose for your life?
- What have you learned from the plans God had for you?
- In a journal, write down the prayers God has answered during the 2016 year.
Thank You for the plans You have for our lives. God, help our unbelief when we don’t understand Your plans. God move us to a deeper understanding of trust and faith.
In Jesus Name,
