Philippians 2:14-15 “ Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world”
As parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, & guardians, give us strength to endure this school year. God we plead the blood over these 180 days of the 2015-2016 school year. Because school is back in session, the to- do-list will be longer. Homework, laundry, packing lunches, PTO meetings, commutes to extracurricular activities, science projects, and research papers to be typed.
God, empower us to assist our children with their school work. God, we will seek you in the morning as a family. God let me not grumble because of my long to-do-list. Instead of complaining about the laundry, I will be thankful for the water to wash the laundry. Instead of complaining about preparing the lunches for school, I will be thankful for the food that we have. Instead of complaining about my children’s homework, I will be thankful for the knowledge that God has endowed in me to help my children. God, forgive me for complaining! I will enjoy this school year and praise God for the provisions He has bestowed upon my family to complete my to-do-list during the course of the year.
Jesus we thank you in advance!
In the magnificent name of Jesus,
